Who are the Colts?
Playing proudly since 1974
For over 40 years, we’ve been coaching and inspiring young players to be the best at their game, and do so with a smile. It all started with our Under 10s team of 1974, formed from the Halliford Cub Pack team -after winning the Scouts District Shield – and a Springfield School Team.
Back then, we played all our home games from behind The Bugle Public House, and it took time to build up more teams for different age groups. By 1977 we had our first Chairman, Dave Buttler, with Pete Hardy as the Club Secretary.
While a lot has changed since then, the Colts still play with the same colours, and more importantly share the same passion for their community, their team members and the beautiful game of football!

Things have changed from the days of playing behind The Bugle – we are proud to be supported by Matthew Arnold School
and St. Pauls College, who generously allow us to use their high-quality facilities
for our Soccer School, Home Games and Tournaments!

Halliford Summer Tournament 2025
This year at Halliford Colts, we will be running two tournaments:
This year our Summer tournaments will run as follows:
- 2025 Summer Tournament on 12th and 13th July for U7 to U11 at St Paul’s Catholic College, Manor Lane, Sunbury-on-Thames TW16 6JE; and
- 2025 Pre-Season 11-a-side Tournament on 30th and 31st August for U13 to U16 at Matthew Arnold School, Kingston Road Staines-upon-Thames Middlesex TW181PF.
